Thing You Really Should Purchase For Your New Baby

New parents often get carried away buying every little thing they can think of in preparation for the arrival of their new baby.  This can range from clothes, through gadgets for warming bottles and cleaning bottles, different types of bottles, nursery furnitures, toys galore and many many more different items.  A lot of this is pschologically preparing them for the arrival of their new baby.  And it is theraputic too.  However there are a couple of items that are simply essential.  One of these items is very rarely overlooked when preparing for baby to come home, the other however can easily be forgotten about almost completely and yet is perhaps equally important, if not more important than the first.

It will come as no surprise to you that the first item is the car seat.  In this day and age where we find ourselves driving everywhere it is almost impossible to imagine yourself transporting your precious new baby around in your car without a car seat.  Clearly the car seat is imperative and you always try to buy a new one and one that is particularly good quality.  You would never forgive yourself if you purchased a cheap car seat that when it was needed did not fulfil its function adequately.

The second item is less obvious and yet your baby will spend more time in contact with this item than almost anything else in your possession.  The item is the crib mattress.  Remember that your baby, especially in its first year at home will spend a very significant part of every day sleeping. If it is not sleeping then it will still be lying down.  As a result the choice of crib mattress for your baby is extremely important.  The way the crib mattress is constructed, the materials and chemicals used and the firmness and overall quality of your crib mattress are all factors that you should spend some time understanding before buying.  Unfortunately many new parents, perhaps destracted by the colorful trinkets that they are busy buying, overlook one of the most important items they can buy.
