Convertible Baby Cribs for the Mom on a Budget
Modern moms are seriously functional beings who want to make the most out of their money. They want to invest on items they know are built to last and stand the test of time. When it comes to their infants, they are meticulous in every unimaginable way and are wary of even the slightest defect in their items. Baby cribs are the first major investment they are most likely to make. If they something functional in addition to being budget friendly and long lasting, convertible baby cribs might be the right choice.
Convertible baby cribs are designed to evolve or transform as your child grows older. Depending on the brand and the type, the crib will last until your child reaches her teens.
There are two types of convertible cribs, the two in one convertible that converts into a toddler bed and the three or four in one convertible or lifetime that evolves into a full sized bed.
There may be a lot of names used to call convertible cribs, but they all have the same stages or evolution. The first stage is the baby crib where all four sides are still attached. The second stage is the toddler bed where one of the rails is removed and replaced with a conversion rail so he doesn’t fall. When your child reaches the pre-schooler age, the conversion rail can be removed. The crib will look like an oversized sofa. The final stage is the full size or double bed where there are only two remaining rails.
A great advantage to convertible baby cribs is that your infant does not need too much attention to adjust to his new living space every time it evolves. It can become his private place. Recent studies have shown that even toddlers need their own private space. Your only problem then is convincing your teenage girl that she doesn’t need a new bed.
